Every member of the Bastiani family is the guardian of a tradition handed down from generation to generation. Each brings with them a story, a piece of the village’s heart and an unwavering commitment to the quality and excellence of Borgo Savaian wines.
Our story is an interweaving of lives, sacrifices and love for the land of Cormòns. It all started with Bruno Bastiani, a tireless man for whom the gravels of Cormòns and marls of Collio held no secrets. In the 1970s, his son Mario and partner Marinella led the winery in a new direction, resulting in the first bottles from Borgo Savaian.
Today, grandchildren Stefano and Rosanna, guided by their grandfather’s teachings, carry on this legacy. In recent years, they have also been joined by Valentina, Stefano’s wife. Together, they have created a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, pursuing ever-more exclusive quality both in the vineyard and in the cellar
